Fear is a universal emotion that every human has.

It is our basic instinct. We need it to protect us from danger.

Fear itself is not detrimental. It only does harm us when we let it.

Imagine you are walking in a jungle. Suddenly you see there is a big creature standing in front of you. You perceive this is dangerous. What you see and think trigger your brain to generate chemicals like cortisol and adrenaline, which signal you to shut down all functions of life creation, and save energy for your escape.

Your heart beats increase. You start breathing very faster. You feel so tense both physically and mentally.

You are in FEAR. Your focus now is to RUN AWAY!

Most of us seldom walk in the jungle. We live in a place that would rarely be any existence of a big creature. We however still have lots of fear: We are fearful of change. We are fear of sickness. we are fear of uncertainty. We are fear of not being good enough…

We are in fear because we tell our mind that something is going to endanger our life.

When we are in fear, all we want to do is to avoid. We run away from dealing with the “danger” we perceive.

What happens when you are in fear?
