One Thing Saves You From Being Killed By Robots
It was a cold but sunny Sunday. My husband and I sat in our favorite cafeteria, enjoying our favorite coffee. As usual, my husband gave me a quick update on the news he read when he got out of bed that morning.
“People are worried about the future as AI will replace more and more jobs” he said.
I pondered. I agreed that at a certain level, this hypothesis may be true. Robots can replace some work that are analytical or routine (which has been happening). Tellers at banks, sales in the shops, even customer service representatives have been replaced by AI.
People can go online to buy groceries with a few clicks on their phone. A drone instead of a delivery guy can deliver their orders. We can just pay with our phone without cash.
Many predictions have reiterated that technology may replace millions of jobs by 2030. Even there’s a speculation that AI writer will also replace human writers.
